Refunding Transactions - VX810

Sometimes, you need to refund a previously completed transaction. In order to do so, you'll need to know the amount of the refund and have the credit card physically present. 

To complete a refund:

  1. Press the button next to Refund [F3].
  2. Enter the manager’s password.
  3. Enter the amount of the refund and press the green OK key.
  4. Swipe or insert the card into the pinpad and hand to customer.
  5. Your customer will verify the refund and enter their PIN before handing the pin-pad back.
  6. Press the green OK button to complete the transaction and print the receipts.
