If your terminal pin-pad is locked, you will need the manager's password to unlock it. A terminal may ship with a locked pin-pad, or it may become locked unintentionally, during day to day use.
Unlocking your terminal's pin-pad:
- Press the number 8 while on the Purchase / Refund / Settlement screen.
- Enter the manager's password into the terminal and press the green OK key.
- Press the button next to No [F2].
