Using A Card Reader on MobileHQ

Card readers allow you to securely capture customer payment information with a simple swipe, rather than manually entering the sale details.

To use your encrypted card reader from Payfirma:

1. Open the Payfirma MobileHQ App and log in using your email and password.
2. Insert the card reader to your device's headphone jack. The app will automatically detect the card reader.
3. Enter the amount of the sale, just as you would with a manual transaction.
4. Swipe the customer's card, with the magnetic stripe facing the thicker side of the card reader.
5. The transaction will either be approved or declined.
